I major in business
But i'm not a capitalist
and honestly
I cant stand business
A nation built on the selfish
We've lost joy in the simple
such as a shellfish
I cant stand this greed
thats blocked sites
of what we need
we complain about rights
but when were offended
we want them ended
Its an endless cycle
we put ourselves in
and always hurt
as we sin
I stopped believing in the land of the free
I've realized its not for me
i care more about community
than that capital based society

God didn't make us to be consumed by money
God didn't make us to have a system based on greed
God didn't make us based on the american dream
God didn't make us to love suburban society
God didnt make us to ignore the poor right by me
God made me to give
God made me to share
God made me to follow
God made me to be simple
God made me to feed them
